August 24 marked the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Ukrainian scientist - Academician V.M. Glushkov, founder and first director of the Academic Institute of Cybernetics. The third competition within the framework of the "GlushkovCYBER" competition was timed to the anniversary of the scientist, which consisted of two parts: "Algebraic art of programming" and "Algebraic art of modeling" (for more details, see the vocation).
The results of the second part were summed up at the solemn International Scientific Symposium "Issues of Optimization of Calculations (POO-XLVIII)", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Academician V.M. GLushkov in video conference mode, which took place from September 19 to 22, 2023.
The organizers of the symposium were the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Institute of Cybernetics named after V.M. Hlushkova National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Institute of Applied Mechanics and Mathematics named after Ya.S. Hairdresser of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko, Kharkiv National University named after V.N. Karazina and PJSC "Institute of Information Technologies" (Kharkov).
Many participants registered in the competition, but the 3rd year student majoring in "Computer Science" of the Institute of Full-time Education of the Poltava University of Economics and Trade, who became the winner of the competition - Artem Vitaliyovych Oborozhnyi, solved the problem best.
